Tragedy strikes: 14-year-old drowns in Swat River

BATKHELA: A 14-year-old boy drowned in Swat River near Sharifabad area of Dargai, Malakand on Tuesday. According to a police report, the deceased, identified as Sajjad, jumped into the river to beat the scorching heat. He eventually drowned and locals started an operation to rescue him. His body was found a few hours later and he was laid to rest.
