Beaumont ton sees England women thrash Pakistan

Visitors were never in the hunt as they were dismissed for just 164 with five overs of their innings remaining

LONDON: Tammy Beaumont became the first England women player to score hundreds in successive one-day internationals as the hosts completed a crushing 3-0 series win with a 202-run victory over Pakistan at Taunton on Monday.

Beaumont, dropped on two and 64, made 168 not out from 144 balls as England compiled a colossal 366 for four.

Beaumont went to her century on Monday off just 111 balls, with nine fours.

She also shared a stand of 166 with Georgia Elwiss, who struck 77 from 78 balls before she was bowled.

Pakistan were never in the hunt when they batted and were dismissed for just 164 with five overs of their innings remaining as England fast bowler Katherine Brunt took five for 30.
