Ongoing investigation: Second FIR lodged in couple's death case

A young man and woman who were students of Szabist were found dead in a parked car on June 17

HYDERABAD: Police have registered on Thursday another FIR in the case of a young man and woman, students of Szabist, whose bodies were found in a parked car on June 17.

Tufail Shaikh, father of Mustafa Raza Shaikh, registered an FIR, nominating unknown accused. Earlier, Khadim Hussain Qadri, Benazir Qadri's father, lodged a similar FIR.

The car, in which the couple was found, was parked in a shuttered garage in Water and Power Development Authority Colony in Hyderabad. According to friends and family, the couple wanted to marry.

The police said that they have started the investigation and statements of around five persons are being recorded. Civil hospital's medico-legal section had collected samples from Mustafa's body for post-mortem on June 17. However, the samples have not been sent for chemical analysis yet.
