Rs400m set aside for 16 colleges

FAISALABAD: The provincial government has allocated Rs400 million for the construction of 16 colleges in Faisalabad division during 2016-17. A spokesperson for the government said on Sunday that construction of the 16 colleges was underway and that funds had been allocated for their completion. He said Rs30 million would be spent on constructing the Home Economics College, Faisalabad. The remaining amount would be spent on completing the construction of Government Girls College, Satyana Bungalow; Government Girls College, Meeranwala Bungalow; Girls College Chak 46-GB, Samundri; Girls College, Arkana Bungalow; Government Boys College, Pensra; Girls College, Pir Punjah Lalian; Girls College, Waryam Wala Jhang; Girls College Shorkot, Cantt; Girls College, Satellite Town, Jhang; Girls College, Ahmadpur Sial; Girls College Khewa; Girls College Ratta Matta, Jhang; Boys College, Lalian; and Boys College, Aminpur, he said.
