Crime diary: Two die in Swabi

SWABI: At least two people died in separate incidents in Swabi. A police official told The Express Tribune, a woman was murdered by unidentified men. An FIR was registered against the incident by the deceased’s sister.

“According to a police report filed, the woman was shot dead by on Saturday night,” he said. “The motive behind the murder has yet to be ascertained.”

Further investigation into the incident is under way. Separately, a man reportedly committed suicide within the jurisdiction of Zaida police station. As per a police report, Mursaleen shot himself with a pistol and was critically wounded.  He was rushed to Bacha Khan Medical Complex where he succumbed to his injuries.  Before he died, Mursaleen said he took the drastic step over a domestic squabble that left him deeply disturbed.

In another incident, a 15-year-old boy disappeared without a trace in Swabi. He has been identified as Wali Wahab.  A police official told The Express Tribune, Mian Abdul Wahab registered a case with Yar Hussain police station.
