Special security arrangements will be ensured in mosques and imambargahs across the city on the occasion of Youm-e-Ali (RA), which will be observed on June 27. This was decided during a meeting at the Karachi commissioner’s office on Friday. Karachi commissioner Ejaz Ahmed Khan issued directions to provide strict security for the processions commemorating the death anniversary of Hazrat Ali (RA). He said that cleanliness and arrangements for uninterrupted supply of power and water should be made on Youm-e-Ali.
