Alia Bhatt opens up about her relationship with Sidharth Malhotra

The duo has been making headlines ever since their on-screen relationship in Student of the Year

Long time rumoured lovebirds, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra have been making headlines regarding their relationship for quite some time now, and Alia has finally put speculations to rest.

Denying all rumours of a relationship, Alia stated, “Let me just say this loud and clear — I am single and Sid is a supportive and extremely important friend in my life and will always be that,” reports Miss Malini.



Rumours were abuzz that there was trouble in paradise because Alia had issues with Sidharth working alongside Shraddha Kapoor, whereas others said it was her decision to work with Varun Dhawan that sparked tensions between the two.

The Udta Punjab star said, “As a friend, rather than asking him not to do films with any actress, I keep telling Sid to work with every person because I think he has the potential to become the biggest superstar of this country."



The starlet further added that they will never try to overrule each other’s choices in life. “Never in my life, will we ever tell each other what we should or should not do,” she said.


The duo is all set to sizzle on-screen with Aashiqui 3, replacing the former on-screen couple Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor.
