Udta Punjab, which is set to release today, has been a subject of much controversy. The fight between the Indian censor board and makers of the movie got so messy that rumors were abuzz the censor board had leaked the film online.
Producer Anurag Kashyap took to Facebook to urge people to watch the movie in theaters, claiming that he has never downloaded a torrent himself ever in his life.

A person commented on the post calling Kashyap a ‘hypocrite’ for making such a claim, to which the filmmaker’s reply was quite bold.
Anurag said that he has the ‘largest personal film library of original films in the country.’

A Buzzfeed reporter, who wasn’t fully convinced with this claim reached out to Anurag and he was invited over to his house to investigate.
