Fiscal year: BZU approves budget for 2016-17

MULTAN: The Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan has announced its budget for the year 2016-2017, Treasurer Umar Farooq said on Thursday. The total outlay approved under the budget is Rs7.63 billion and the expected revenue is Rs7.07 billion.

Farooq was addressing a meeting of the finance and planning committee chaired by Vice Chancellor Tahir Amin. He said the development budget for various projects was Rs700 million. A deficit budget has been approved and a committee has been constituted to look into a few other matters, he said. The next meeting of the finance and planning committee will discuss regular items and other agendas on June 19, he said.
