PESHAWAR: An earthquake of moderate intensity jolted several parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) on Wednesday.

However, no casuality or loss of property was reported.

According to geological wing of Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), an earthquake of 5.4 magnitude was felt in Malakand Division, Khyber Agency, Swat and surrounding areas.

Death toll from northern Pakistan earthquake rises to six

The epicentre of the earthquake was Hindukash mountainous border area of Pakistan-Afghanistan at a depth of 155kms.

Earlier in April, at least six people were killed when a powerful earthquake rocked parts of Pakistan.
