The ace director spilled the beans on his upcoming film, revealing that it will have the elements of comedy and drama, with politics as its backdrop.
Kabir told PTI, "It is about a personal issue. Can't talk about what exactly right now. Needless to say my films always have a political backdrop to them because that's what excites me and I find real. So Tube Light also has a little political backdrop," reports NDTV.

Kabir further revealed that Tube Light will be similar to his last film. "In terms of its emotional space, it is similar to Bajrangi Bhaijaan. But the story is very different. It is more of humour and emotional space that we (Salman and I) haven't delved into."
Salman is said to undertake a 'journey of enlightenment' and will travel from India to China in the film. Kabir also revealed that Tube Light will have a "China element in the story".
