SC disposes of murder case of Sardar Khan, former AGP.

ISLAMABAD:
The Supreme Court on Monday disposed of the murder case of Sardar Khan, a former Attorney General of Pakistan (AGP).

A four-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary heard the case.

Interior Secretary Qamaruz Zaman Chaudhary informed the court that Interpol has arrested Roohullah, the main perpetrator of the AGP’s murder, from Dubai and arrangements have been made for his repatriation. Roohullah had escaped to Afghanistan from where he went to Dubai.

Of the four men nominated in the case, three have been arrested, including the mastermind. A joint investigation team headed by DIG Islamabad, Binyamin, traced the main culprits. The team comprised officials of the Islamabad and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa police.
