Retired professor found dead at home 

The FIR of the murder was registered by Brewery Road Police Station on the complaint of Hazrat Omar

QUETTA: A retired professor was found dead in his kitchen at his home in Quetta Cantonment late Wednesday evening.

According to police, retired professor Fasiullah was found dead, hands tied, in his home at Madrassa Road.

“The body seems three days old,” a police official said, adding that the corpse was lying on the kitchen floor with hands tied behind the back with a rope. The motive behind the murder has yet to be ascertained.

Meanwhile, lawyers boycotted courts in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan on Thursday, condemning the killing of University Law College Quetta Principal Barrister Amanullah Achakzai.

Achakzai was gunned down by unidentified men in Spinny Road area of the provincial capital on Wednesday, when he was on his way to the law college.

The FIR of the murder was registered by Brewery Road Police Station on the complaint of Hazrat Omar, brother of the slain barrister.
