Pollution: EPD seals three factories

FAISALABAD: The Environmental Protection Department has sealed three dyeing factories in various parts of Faisalabad for polluting environment.  A spokesperson of the Environment Department told journalists on Tuesday that the Environment district officer (DO) and his team conducted surprise visits at various commercial and industrial areas and found three dyeing factories – Sabir Dyeing Factory in Sinnora Colony, AR Rehman Dyeing Factory in Nawaban Wala, and Sadiq Dyeing Factory in Nawaban Wala – that were emitting poisonous untreated fumes. The Environment DO sealed the premises and sent reports on them for further action, he added.
