At least three people were killed after unidentified armed men attacked a wine shop in Karachi on Sunday.

Two gunmen riding a motorbike opened fire at Super Wine Shop located on Abul Hassan Isphahani road, Sachal police said. As a result, three people, including the shop's cashier and guard were killed.

According to Express News, the shop owner said neither did he have enmity with anyone nor such an incident happened before.


Police re-arrest man accused of selling liquor

Earlier in January, 2016, a similar incident took place when a wine shop was attacked with a hand grenade in Quetta.

Unidentified men lobbed a hand grenade at the officially sanctioned wine shop located on Muneer Mengal Road.  The shop owner, Moti Ram, was injured in the attack.
