Upgrade: Rs60,000 for model police station

LAHORE: Rs60,000 has been allocated for a model police station in Model Town Division. Operations DIG Haider Ashraf told newsmen that a committee had been formed to monitor disbursement of the fund and to ensure transparency. He said another committee had been formed to formulate standard operating procedures for disbursing these funds. He said the funds were being offered under a pilot project. He said this fund, allocated for maintenance, would be extended to other police stations later.
