Violence: Three killed in separate incidents in DI Khan

DI KHAN: At least three people were killed in separate incidents in DI Khan on Wednesday.

A police official told The Express Tribune, a man was shot dead while cutting a tree in a field in Bacha Abad village in Kulachi tehsil. He has been identified as Sultan Muhammad.

Jan Muhammad, the deceased’s brother, registered an FIR at Kulachi police station. According to the official, Jan said Sultan did not have any enemies.

“He said his brother was working in the field of his friend Nawrang Khan who had enemies in the area,” the officials said. “According to the deceased’s brother, Sultan became a victim of this enmity.”

Jan nominated Mumtaz Khan, Nadar Khan and Roshan Khan in the FIR.

Separately, 27-year-old Matiullah was gunned down by his opponents in Galoti village.

According to an official of Yarak police station, the accused fled the site after committing the crime.

He added the incident took place over a land dispute. An FIR was registered against Arif, Nauman and Jafar Khan by a relative of the deceased.

In another incident, the police found the body of a woman in Paroha tehsil.

The deceased had been killed a few days ago. The body had been mutilated. An FIR was registered and investigation has commenced.
