The last-16 line-up of the Jubilee Insurance 2nd Ranking National Snooker Championship is now complete, with a couple of exciting matches scheduled to be played today at the Movenpick Hotel in Karachi.
In the morning session, former IBSF world champion Muhammad Asif will take on Abu Saim, while Ian Mark John will clash with Abdul Javed. Shahram Changezi and Mohammad Asif Toba will be involved in a tough battle for a place in the last-eight, while Sharjeel Mehmood will lock horns with Babar Masih.
The afternoon session will see Mohammad Bilal going head-to-head with Shahid Aftab, while Zulfiqar Qadir will be up against Sohail Shehzad. Asjad Iqbal will vie with Mohammad Ijaz and veteran Mohammad Sajjad will take on Mohammad Faheem.
Yesterday, Sajjad thrashed Abdul Sattar 4-0 with scores of 56-35, 67-28, 67-02, 85-30, while Changezi beat Faheem 4-3 with a scoreline of 60-68, 52-63, 69-20, 107-13(58), 55-62, 48-46, 65-34.
