In raids: Explosives seized in Bara

The explosives were defused by the bomb disposal unit (BDU)

JAMRUD:  

Security forces seized a large amount of explosives in Bara, Khyber Agency late Sunday night.

According to officials, security forces conducted a search operation and found 12 bombs from different areas.

The explosives were defused by the bomb disposal unit (BDU). However, no suspects were arrested during the raids.

Meanwhile, a proclaimed offender was killed in an encounter with Afghan security forces.

He was wanted for offences in Jamrud. The Jamrud political administration stated Socha Gul, a resident of Sor Kamar, was involved in several criminal activities.

He had been lying low for some time and was taken into custody by security forces.
