Nabbed: Suspected militant arrested in Hangu

A Kalashnikov, two pistols and a gun were seized from them

HANGU: A suspected militant was arrested in Baliamina area of Hangu on Wednesday. Hangu DPO Shah Nazar told The Express Tribune the accused was identified as Nabeel Rehman. “He was arrested during a raid from his hideout,” he said. According to Nazar, the suspect was shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation. “Rehman was involved in several cases of murder, target killing and militancy in the district,” he added. Separately, four proclaimed offenders were arrested during a search operation in Doaba, Chapri Naryab, Ghalo China, Dar Samandar and Karbogha areas. They have been identified as Abdul Aziz, Muhammad Zahoor, Rafeeq and Bakhtiar. A Kalashnikov, two pistols and a gun were seized from them.
