They have blamed the authority concerned for resorting to favouritism, saying BISE authorities have a soft corner for government’s educational institutes which is why they helped them through illegal means.

“We have valid proofs about papers being leaked by BISE Swat authorities, secretly ahead of the scheduled time of the exam,” one of the teachers said while talking to the media at Swat Press Club on Wednesday. “The Urdu paper for first year exams was given to students of some government colleges almost a month prior to the scheduled time.”
Record alleged
The teachers, students and parents said BISE authorities have been involved since long in discriminating against students and owners of private schools in Swat.
“The students of private institutes in the area are always faced with humiliating behaviour by invigilators at exam centres of BISE,” said a student, who was present on the occasion.”
The parents demanded the district administration and education minister of the province to look into the matter so that future of students could be safeguarded.
When contacted, BISE Swat Chairperson Fazal Rahim said all the papers for FA and FSc exams were prepared secretly by BISE Malakand and that the authorities in BISE Swat had nothing to do with leaking of the paper. “BISE Malakand have been contacted in this regard for probing into the matter and taking a more stern action against the wrongdoers,”
he said.
A couple of weeks ago civil society members in Swat raised questions, at a press conference, over negligence and management in the highest educational authority at district level.
