Meeting with mayor : Minister promises to strengthen LG
The minister said that the beauty of Islamabad would be restored along with the provision of best possible facilities
ISLAMABAD:
The government will strengthen local bodies to undertake developmental projects in the capital while ensuring provision of civic facilities. This was said by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Sheikh Aftab on Tuesday during a meeting with Islamabad Mayor Ansar Aziz. They also discussed various development projects in the federal capital. The minister said that the beauty of Islamabad would be restored along with the provision of best possible facilities to its residents. He said elected representatives would work hard to improve the state of affairs in urban and rural areas.
