Summer holidays: 26 schools issued notices

The government had announced holidays from May 24 in all schools

FAISALABAD: The Education Department has issued notices to 26 private schools for violating the government’s orders regarding summer vacation that were supposed to start on Tuesday (May 24). In the notice issued by Education EDO Bashir Zahid Goraya, the department has sought an explanation from the private schools’ managements as to why they had failed to comply with the government’s notification regarding summer holidays. The government had announced holidays from May 24 in all schools. Assistant Education Officers had been directed to ensure that all schools implemented the orders.
