The membership process kicked off on February 15. So far, 2,705,892 people have been registered with PTI’s election commission through mobile phone services across the country.

As per the data available with The Express Tribune, the membership of 2,425,686 people has been verified by the party. However, the membership of 285 725 people across the country remains unverified. While speaking to The Express Tribune, Sahibzada Hassan Ali, the spokesperson for the election commission, confirmed that the registration of around 60,000 people from K-P could not be verified.

He added 86,000 members from Peshawar have been verified through mobile phone services.
