Welfare agenda: All resources being spent on development, says CM

CM Punjab said that the time had come for elimination of corruption

All available resources are being spent on the welfare of people, Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said on Saturday. He was talking to a group of elected representatives. “Billions of rupees has been saved by maintaining transparency and high quality in development projects. Politicians trying to create chaos should mend their ways. Honesty and hard work will lead to progress and prosperity,” he said. The chief minister said that a number of public welfare projects were underway in the province. “The government is spending Rs3.5 billion annually on the provision of medicines to patients in public sector hospitals,” he said. He said that the time had come for elimination of corruption.
