Masih won a tough match against Bahrain’s Ahmed Janahi, coming back from 3-1 down to win 5-4.
The first frame set the tone for a competitive clash with Masih winning by just a point, but Jahani was dominant in the next frame and went on to win the next two as well.

Masih raised the bar when it mattered the most, triumphing in three frames on the trot to turn the match on its head as it was now him who led 4-3. He needed just one more frame to win the match, but Ahmed pushed it to the decider.
With the match evenly poised at 4-4, Masih did not give any chance to Ahmed in the final frame as he struck 43 points, while his opponent was unable to pot even a single ball.
Masih won with a scoreline of 36-35, 18-50, 00-57, 24-34, 39-30, 44-05, 32-20 17-34, 43-00.

Meanwhile, former Asian 6-Red and IBSF World Champion Mohammad Asif registered a dominant 5-0 victory against Bahrain’s Eyad Alansari with scores of 56-04, 52-02, 79-00, 37-29, 50-09.
In another match, Bilal also prevailed as he triumphed 5-1 versus UAE’s Mohammed Alfalasi with scores of 68-17, 27-11, 28-14, 42-01, 14-38, 41-07.
