Police said that a car had collided with the concrete barrier in the middle of the Lahore-Islamabad Motorway. “Shahid Iqbal, Zahid Iqbal and Azeem, residents of Lahore, were travelling to Islamabad on their car along with some other family members. Shahid, who was driving the car, dozed off.
The car hit the barrier and overturned near Sial Mor,” police said. They said that the injured were taken to Pindi Bhattian Tehsil Headquarters Hospital by Motorway Police. “Shahid and his relative, Umme Kalsoom later died of the injuries.
Fauzia and Zahid, who were in critical condition, were shifted to Allied Hospital in Faisalabad,” police said.
