Medical store, four food outlets sealed

ISLAMABAD: Inspection teams of the health and food departments conducted 205 inspections during the last week and sealed four food outlets and a medical store for violations of food safety laws and the drug act.

Challans against 21 unhygienic food outlets were submitted in a court.

A bakery and a meat shop were also partially sealed.

Three FIRs were registered against the violators and 52 notices were issued.
