Martin was 17 years old when he was killed by security guard Zimmerman in February 2012. Following the incident, Zimmerman was charged with second-degree murder and manslaughter, however, was acquitted in July.

The description also included pictures of the weapon while it was in custody of law enforcement forces. "The gun is a Kel-Tec PF-9 9mm. It has recently been returned to me by the Department of Justice," he wrote.

"However, the offers were to use the gun in a fashion I did not feel comfortable with," Zimmerman explained.
Taking pride in his beliefs, the owner went on to state that a "portion of the proceeds will be used to fight Black Lives Matter (BLM) violence against Law Enforcement officers, ensure the demise of Angela Correy's persecution career and Hillary Clinton's anti-firearm rhetoric."
