Heinous crime: Three women shot dead

FAISALABAD: Three women were shot dead on Wednesday in Balochni. A police spokesman said that Saqib, Wahid and Nasir had shot and murdered Farzana, 43, Nasreen, 34, and Zahra, 20, in Chak 82-RB.

Talking to The Express Tribune, Akram Ali, a neighbour, said Nasir was married to Nasreen. “Nasir suspected that Nasreen was having an affair.

They used to have nasty arguments over the issue. Last week, they had another row.

Later, Nasreen came to live at her brother’s house. Nasir asked Nasreen to return to his house. However, she refused.

On Wednesday, Nasir and his accomplices came and shot Nasreen, her sister-in-law Farzana and a relative Zahra,” he said.

The Balochni SHO said that the police had taken the bodies to a hospital for post mortem examination. “A team has also been constituted to arrest the suspects,” he said.
