Germany has contributed 7.5 million euros for mother, child health and reproductive health interventions in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata), Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B) and northern Punjab.

The German support has been channeled to Pakistan through the Economic Affairs Division under a bilateral agreement between the two governments, a press release said on Monday.

The implementing partners for the three-year project are Greenstar Social Marketing Pakistan, DKT International, Rahnuma-FPAPA and the Aga Khan Health Services Pakistan, the press release said.

The project will be implemented in five districts of K-P, eight districts of north Punjab, four agencies of Fata and one district of G-B. It aims to improve access of the population, especially the poor and vulnerable groups, to improved and affordable reproductive health services.
