Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor recently held a Twitter Q&A session for his fans, where he answered all kinds of questions, from who his favourite cricketers are, to which brand of beard oil the Jab We Met actor uses.

When asked who his favourite Pakistani cricketer is, Shahid responded, “Wasim Akram.”

It seems like the Pakistani cricket legend still has many loyal fans in India, as cricketer Virat Kohli has also recently revealed that he would fear playing against Wasim Akram, who he called “fast and skillful.”

When asked about Indian cricketers, Shahid replied, “Sachin the legend. Dhoni the best captain we have had. Virat the best chaser in the world.”

Shahid also added some humour to his replies.

I would have feared Wasim Akram if I played against him: Virat Kohli

Shahid Kapoor will next be seen as the tatted up, rock star Tommy Singh in Udta Punjab — A movie based on the drug abuse problem affecting Punjab’s youth, slated to release June 17.

Indians like Wasim because he has never said anything bad about India or Indians. Great diplomacy by a great match fixer. Whereas Afridi, Shoaib and many others have said some senseless things about Indians.Recommend

Wasim Akram is really overrated. My avid cricket watching days matched exactly with Wasim Akram’s career. In the later half of his career he was a slow bowler who used to get trashed in Australia, South Africa and India. Only used to get wickets in the fixers heaven of Sharjah or in the swinging conditions of England.Recommend
