Money matters: ‘ECP should ensure transparency’

LAHORE: A petition was moved before the Lahore High Court on Wednesday seeking directions for the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to make public details of assets owned by all parliamentarians. Petitioner Muhammad Azhar Siddique moved the petition. He told the court the people had a right to know about the assets of their representatives. He said the ECP was duty-bound to ensure transparency in this regard.
