Islamia college university: Persian language course concludes
A ceremony was held to award certificates to participants of the course

A six-week-long comprehensive Persian language learning course concluded at Islamia College University, in the city on Tuesday. A ceremony was held to award certificates to participants of the course. The classes were arranged in collaboration with the Iranian Cultural Centre. At the certificate distribution ceremony, ICU Vice Chancellor Ajmal Khan highlighted the importance of Persian. He said it was difficult, if not impossible, to understand the poetry of our great Urdu poets without the sufficient knowledge of Persian language. He announced ICU would organise a four-month Persian diploma course after the summer vacations.
