Your stars today

Shelley Von Strunckel April 29, 2016

Aries | March 20 – April 18

The time has come to do your sums. With the Sun, Mercury and as of yesterday, Venus, which accents money as well as relationships, all in the portion of your chart that has to do with your resources, the questions you ask are bound to trigger rewarding discussions, if not surprising revelations.

Taurus | April 19 – May 19

Judging by this complex week’s planetary setup, there are a number of situations over which you’ve little control, at least at the moment. Tempting as it is to back out, in the long run, you’d regret it. If you must, express your concerns. However, you’ll soon realise they were entirely unjustified.

Gemini | May 20 – June 19

Don’t be surprised if, suddenly, you decide to tackle issues you’ve been avoiding for ages. With the Sun, Venus and the retrograde Mercury in the most strategic portion of your chart, it’s not only time to deal with even very tricky matters, the odds are good you devise a clever solution.

Cancer | June 20 – July 21

In early March the dynamic Mars moved to accent various practical arrangements, at home or possibly, at work. Whatever the case, while changes are probably inevitable, they could come about because of confusion or even disagreements. Knowing that, forget about attempts to resolve clashes. They could be a vital catalyst for breakthroughs.

Leo | July 22 – August 21

For weeks you’ve been wrestling with stubborn clashes over crucial arrangements. Now, finally, the diplomatic Venus is joining the Sun and Mercury in the portion of your chart that has to do with plans, in general, and these matters in particular. Its calming influence will make a huge difference.

Virgo | August 22 – September 21

Although you don’t regard yourself as stubborn, you’ve been clinging ferociously to certain arrangements, mostly because they’re familiar. Now and over the coming weeks, however, you’ll be forced to make a few changes. Tempting as it is to do the minimum, you’re better off plunging in. The more you do, the better.

Libra | September 22 – October 21

Only days ago you’d have dismissed the idea of certain changes without a thought. However, recent discussions have made you realise that elements of your life you’ve regarded as familiar are actually holding you back. If this process seems overwhelming, rather than make changes all at once, undertake them gradually.

Scorpio | October 22 – November 20

Both the practical Saturn and forthright Mars are accenting the angle of your chart that focuses on your resources, that is, your finances but also what you earn and own. This powerful setup highlights the need both to analyse these arrangements and consider altering a few that are no longer working for you.

Sagittarius | November 21 – December 20

One of your greatest qualities is your easygoing attitude towards the quirks of others. Yet the recent behaviour of one particular individual is forcing you to speak up. Once you begin discussing these issues, you’ll realise they were well aware they were causing problems and fully expected somebody to draw the line.

Capricorn | December 21 – January 19

Every sign is influenced by the retrograde Mercury in a unique way. While the period during which this, the planet of communication, is moving backwards in the sky triggers universal confusion, for you, now, it accents close alliances, personal, romantic and with family. Discussing persistent misunderstandings could end these issues for good.

Aquarius | January 20 – February 18

On rare occasions the planets are so favourably aligned for one particular sign that even minor setbacks can’t undermine their power. This is the case now for you, as an Aquarius. Do what you can about those difficulties, then focus on any ideas or offers that come your way. They could be life-changing.

Pisces | February 19 – March 19

Making long-range decisions can be challenging enough. Making them while Mercury, the planet of ideas and communication, is retrograde is another matter. Worrying as this seems, ironically, what you learn or the insights you gain while undoing any errors or misunderstandings, will only lead to improvements on the plans you’re organising.
