Paf-kiet convocation: Degrees awarded to 569 graduates

Chief of air staff air chief marshal Sohail Aman was also present on the occasion as the guest of honour

KARACHI: Around 569 graduates of management sciences, computer sciences and engineering programmes were awarded degrees at the 13th convocation ceremony of Pakistan Air Force - Karachi Institute of Economics and Technology that was held at PAF Museum on April 21. Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad awarded gold and silver medals to 26 high achievers. Addressing the students, the governor emphasised on the importance of higher education and the significance of research and development for the progress of the country. Chief of air staff air chief marshal Sohail Aman was also present on the occasion as the guest of honour. In his welcome address, PAF-KIET president Air Vice Marshal (retd) Tubrez Asif praised the efforts of the students and the faculty and talked about the role of education in the development of Pakistan.
