Short-circuiting: Fire damages govt, private buildings

According to the police, the fire originated in the canteen and spread to the nearby structures

MUZAFFARABAD: Several official and private buildings sustained partial damage when a fire broke out in a nearby canteen in Bagh. According to the police, the fire originated in the canteen and spread to the nearby structures including, a seminary’s living quarters, local government offices, and the district jail. They said that the fire was caused by short-circuiting in the canteen and timely arrival of the fire fighters played a pivotal role in extinguishing the fire.
