During his meetings with Prince Al-Hassan bin Talal and Chief of Royal Jordanian Air Force, Major General Mansour Al Jobour, the COAS discussed regional security, defence collaboration and military training exchanges.

General Raheel held separate meetings with Chairman Joint Chief of Staff Jordanian armed forces Gen Mashal Al-Zaben and Lt Gen Prince Feisal Bin El Hussein.
Medal of merit
The army chief was also awarded Jordan’s most prestigious medal of merit for displaying courage in leading the armed forces in the face of multiple threats, especially terrorism, and for his efforts to promote regional peace and stability, said the ISPR.
Earlier, the COAS was received by Gen Mashal Al-Zaben and Major General Mansour Al Jobour.
On April 18, Pakistan Army announced completion of the last phase of full-scale military offensive in North Waziristan after terrorists were driven out of the strategic Shawal Valley.
