ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) organised a colourful event at the Lake View Park to observe the Earth Day under the theme `Tree for the Earth’. Member Environment CDA, Sanaullah Aman, senior officers of the authority, a large number of students of various educational institutions, representatives of civil society, environmentalists and people from different walks participated in the ceremony. Comprising of a theme-based painting competition among students of different schools, poster competition, debate competition and an awareness walk was organised in the event. The debate completion was won by the students of Asas Foundation School, poster completion by the students of Imperial School System while students of Roots School System leaded in the painting completion.
