LAKKI MARWAT:

Residents of Mela Mandra in Lakki Marwat have asked the Construction and Works (C&W) department to construct roads on either ends of the curving Chinai Bridge. The construction of the bridge was recently completed along Zangi Khel Road. However, there are no proper roads on either end of the flyover.

Those residents who frequent this route said several important aspects were not considered during construction. Many accidents have occurred on the deadly turn of the bridge after it came into existence, they added. The government and C&W department have been asked to look into the construction and make new roads on both ends to prevent accidents.

Local influential Hafiz Minhaajuddin and others urged Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Bakhtiar Khan to take notice of the issue and commission a feasibility report.
