Fatal Collision: One dead, five injured in Swabi

SWABI: A woman died and five others were injured when two vehicles collided near Baja Bypass along Swabi-Topi Road on Saturday. A police official told The Express Tribune a Peshawar-bound truck collided with a rickshaw. “As a result, a woman died on the spot,” he said. “She has been identified as the wife of Shahidur Rehman.” According to the official, the injured were admitted to the District Headquarters Hospital Swabi. “Two of the victims were referred to hospitals in Peshawar as their injuries were more severe,” he added. Swabi police registered a case and further investigation is under way.
