MINGORA:
Traders in Swat do not want to reach a compromise over the extension of Customs Act, 1969 to Malakand Division. This was said by Swat Traders Federation President Abdul Rahim while talking to journalists on Saturday. He said the move made by the law ministry and the Federal Board of Revenue would not be tolerated and they have vehemently opposed the decision. He added the government was trying to deceive the people of Malakand. He maintained people from all over the division have rejected the move and the government should declare the withdrawal of its decision without further delay.
