Temporary Charge: Education secretary goes abroad

KARACHI:
Fazlullah Pechuho, the current Sindh education secretary, has left the country on a personal visit. In his absence, a Pakistan Administrative Service officer, Mukhtar Hussain Soomro, has been given the additional charge of education secretary on Tuesday. Soomro is also the industries and commerce department secretary. Sindh chief secretary Muhammad Siddique Memon has notified that Soomro will be looking after Pechuho’s post. The education secretary left for United States on April 18 for 15 days, while the chief secretary gave additional charge to Soomro on Tuesday.
