The Duchess of Cambridge gave some serious style goals to all the girls-next-door.

There are no tiaras and ball gowns in the cards for the Duchess of Cambridge, who gives some serious style goals to the girls next door.

All eyes were set on Kate Middleton during her maiden visit to India and Bhutan last week. While many people were curious to find out what was on the Royal couple’s itinerary, others were eager to see some new pieces from Kate’s enviable wardrobe.

10 highlights from Prince William and Kate's Bollywood gala

Much to our surprise, Her Royal Highness was the epitome of simplicity throughout her whirlwind tour as she was seen sporting some chic yet elegant outfits.

We have deconstructed Kate’s wardrobe and picked up some staples which prove that repeating an outfit is not an offence.

Outifts

Emilia Wickstead

Her Royal Highness channeled her elegance in a yellow-gold dress by British designer Emilia Wickstead when she arrived in Bhutan.

Kate was spotted wearing the same dress back in 2012 for an “Order of the Thistle” ceremony in Scotland.

Alexander McQueen

Kate was a vision in white during her departure from Bhutan. The Duchess of Cambridge wore a Broderie Anglaise suit by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen.

Kate first wore the suit on the second day of the 2012 Royal Tour, during a visit to Singapore.

Shoes

LK Bennett Fern pumps

Kate was a sartorial masterpiece in a scarlet Alexander Mcqueen peplum dress, on her arrival in India. She paired her paisley-printed bespoke piece with LK Bennett Fern style in trench leather.

Kate wore the same pair of shoes with Temperley London’s Desdemona Lace Dress during her lunch with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. The nude pumps perfectly complimented her teal dress.

It seems that Kate really yearns the Fern as she wore it once again during her Royal visit to Bhutan. She paired the nude heels with her Emilia Wickstead and Broderie Anglaise dresses.

And just when we thought she had enough of them, those pretty pumps got another airing. The Duchess wore them with a stunning blue and white patterned dress by Indian-born designer Naeem Khan while visiting Taj Mahal.

Pied-A-Terre Imperia wedges

Although Pied-A-Terre Imperia ceased trading around 2011-2012, their sister company Dune took over making the shoes. Kate sported the black wedges with a stunning green maxi dress by American designer Anna Sui while attending Bohag Bihu festival at Kaziranga National Park, Assam.

Kate repeated the pair with her pink and black embroidered smock dress from Topshop during her visit to Pan Bari - a rural village on the edge of the park.

Temple of Heaven earrings

Kate was first spotted wearing the 9ct gold ‘Temple of Heaven’ earrings by jeweller Cassandra Goad on day one of her royal tour. Since then she has worn them a number of times.

She paired them with her ivory midi dress by Emilia Wickstead while visiting the India Gate in New Delhi.

Kate repeated the pair with her poppy Juliet dress from Beulah London at a reception in Thimpu, Bhutan.

Filigree Bead Short Drop earrings

Can you believe these simple earrings from Accessorize could be a royal wardrobe staple?

Kate wore the British high street brand’s earrings with her tunic dress by Indian designer Anita Dongre during her visit to Oval Maidan recreational ground in South Mumbai.

The Duchess repeated the pair with her printed dress by Manchester-based high street brand Glamorous during her visit to the Salaam Baalak Trust in New Delhi. They also added the oomph factor to her Topshop dress.

Gold Charm earrings

Kate sported a new pair of gold charm earrings from Brora on her arrival in Bhutan. They are officially described as “eye-catching, yet not overwhelming”.

The Duchess repeated the 22 ct gold plated brass earrings with her Tory Burch’s Floral Mesh Gown that she wore at a private dinner with the Bhutanese King and Queen at Lingkana Palace.

LK Bennett Natalie clutch

Her Royal Highness debuted the straw clutch in 2011 when she attended the Epsom Derby. Since then, she was spotted carrying the Natalie clutch on different occasions and her Royal tour to India wasn’t different.

The Duchess perfectly complimented her Temperley London, Emilia Wickstead and Broderie Anglaise dresses with the popular clutch.
