Pakistan’s entertainment industry appears to have taken a liking to animation – after Haroon Rashid’s Burka Avenger and Sharmeen Obaid’s 3 Bahadur, Muhammad Asim is now directing Tick Tock!

The series is based on true events and aims to educate children on history. Talk show host Maria Memon is lending her voice to the animation, as well as Alyy Khan, Ghulam Mohiuddin and Ahsan Khan.

Tick Tock is produced by Sana Tauseef, while the script is written by Omair Alavi.

Fuzon’s Emu is set to produce the film’s music and background score.

Release date is yet to be announced.
