Explosives recovery: Afghan national sentenced to jail

The court handed down 14 years jail term for carrying the explosives and another 14 years for terrorism

RAWALPINDI: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Tuesday handed down two 14-year jail terms to an Afghan national in an explosives recovery case. Special Judge ATC-I Ayub Marth convicted Sabir Zarawar for carrying over one kg explosives. The court handed down 14 years jail term for carrying the explosives and another 14 years for terrorism. Counter-terrorism department arrested the convict from Dhok Hassu in Rawalpindi on November 5, 2015.
