Looming Threat: Widow demands protection against POs
Her father-in-law also attended the conference
WARI:
A widow from Upper Dir has urged the government to provide her family with protection as proclaimed offenders have been repeatedly threatening them. Mast Kheyal Pari, a widow from Shalgah Nehag Darra village in Upper Dir, held a news conference in Upper Dir on Saturday. Her father-in-law also attended the conference. Pari said Fazal Rabbi and Bacha Zada, sons of Sher Zamin, killed her husband Yar Dool Khan and set their house on fire seven years ago. They disappeared after committing the crime and were declared proclaimed offenders (PO). Pari said her husband’s murderers have returned to Upper Dir and have been pressurising the family to withdraw the case. They have also threatened them of dire consequences if the case is not withdrawn. She demanded the government take immediate notice of the matter.
