Arbitration: Complainant summoned in bail plea

LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge has summoned a man on April 27 in response to a pre-arrest bail application filed by stage actress Hani Shehzadi. Mehmood Ahmed Bhatti had registered an FIR against her under Section 324 (attempted murder) of the Pakistan Penal Code. He said that a few days ago Shehzadi had had an argument with some people. He said that when he had tried to mediate the actress had told her henchmen to beat him up. He said one of the men had shot at him injuring him in the arm.
