Anti-Dengue Drive: Depts mobilised to tackle situation

RAWALPINDI: Assistant Commissioner City Maleha Jamal on Thursday said that all resources are being utilized to deal with dengue and concerned departments are fully mobilised to cope with the situation. Presiding over a meeting to review dengue situation and measures taken for its eradication, she directed that anti-dengue regulations be fully implemented and stern action be taken those failing to comply with the laws. She said that cleanliness of bus stands, graveyards, godowns, junkyards, nurseries and other public places should be ensured. She directed that fogging should be carried out in those union councils where dengue patients and larvae were reported last year. TMO Mir Akmal and officials of different departments attended the meeting.
