Eight people killed in traffic accident

Bus heading towards Peshawar falls into ravine due to over-speeding. Sixteen people also injured.

CHARSADDA: Eight people people were killed and 16 others injured when a bus heading towards Peshawar fell into a ravine due to over-speeding on Monday.

The accident occurred in the Charsadda area of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the injured to hospitals, where some are said to be in critical condition.

Police have also started an investigation.

Yesterday, at least 32 people were killed in a brutal accident near Nooriabad when a bus on its way to Sukkur from Karachi rammed into an oil tanker on the Super Highway, causing both vehicles to catch fire.

mashal | 13 years ago | Reply 27 people has been killed in this accident my father SARDAR AKBAR s/o muhammad akbar was head constable in peshawar he was also include in this accident most of the people were govtt servents but the govtt keep silent on this event nothing z done 4 the faimly members of these people alot of womens became widows several childerns became orphans what will b the future of these faimlies either these childerns remain uneducated and they will become begger if such type of accident occur in punjab side the govtt will do alot but here they keep silence what will be our future?????????????????????
